Specimen Type: Lavender-top (EDTA) tube Specimen Storage: FREEZE Specimen Collection: Collect into chilled or pre-frozen plastic lavender-top (EDTA) tube, noting the time of collection. After venipuncture, immediately mix specimen by inversion several times to ensure complete mixture. Separate plasma from cells by centrifugation.
